This is how you should pray

Confess faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer of a righteous person is powerful

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Call on me and I will listen

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive and ye shall have

Believe you have received it

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Spirit helps us in our weakness

The LORD nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
