I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished course, I have kept the faith:

I have finished the race

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

And whatsoever ye do, do heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Work heartily as for the Lord

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God with thee whithersoever thou goest.

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
