Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Let your lives, then, prove your repentance; and do not begin to say among yourselves “Abraham is our ancestor,” for I tell you that out of these stones God is able to raise descendants for Abraham!
