Heaven & Eternity

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

No more death, mourning, or pain

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Our citizenship is in heaven

For we know that if our earthly house of tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

And the twelve gates twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Store up treasures in heaven

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Set your minds on things above

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Shall not perish but have eternal life

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
